HARDWELL & METROPOLE ORKEST BRING A UNIQUE ADE SHOW TO ZIGGO DOME AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam, 12 June 2018 – On Thursday 18 October 2018 Hardwell will host a unique concert with the Metropole Orkest at Amsterdam’s iconic Ziggo Dome. During ‘Symphony: The Global Revolution of Dance’, the world-famous DJ, together with the world’s leading pop & jazz orchestra, will take the audience on a musical journey through the history of dance music. An all ages concert that starts with the rise of dance music in the 80’s and ends with the mega hits of today. The pre-sale for this one-off show during Amsterdam Dance Event starts on Friday, June 15th at 10am CET, with the worldwide ticket sale opening on June 18th at 10am via www.djhardwell.com/symphony. Hardwell and the multiple Grammy Award winning Metropole Orkest, recently announced their collaboration with the release of the track ‘Conquerors’. With the addition of this unique concert for an all-age audience, the collaboration reaches a high point that can be seen and heard live at the Ziggo Dome. The spectacular show of the legendary DJ and the Metropole Orchestra is characterized by the composition of different music periods, from the 80s to the present. Hits will include various world stars from Donna Summer to Tiësto and Carl Cox to Daft Punk. “With this show a dream comes true. Dimitri Thivaios of ‘Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’ fame makes an appearance in Jean-Claude Van Damme’s new movie ‘Lukas’

JCVD playing Lukas is a nightclub bouncer in his fifties who’s taken punches, literally and figuratively, and struggles to raise his 8-year-old daughter. After he’s arrested, the only way for Lukas to get his daughter back is to work with Interpol to bring down a criminal organisation and its kingpin operating from Belgium. Alongside JCVD, ‘The Bouncer’ also stars Sveva Alviti, Sami Bouajila, Sam Louwyck, Kaaris, Kevin Janssens, Kaaris, Alice Verset and Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios. With over 1 million votes cast each year from 179 countries, the Top 100 DJs is the definitive annual guide to the world’s most popular DJs and is a living symbol of the strength and diversity of the global electronic music scene. Across its 24 previ-ous winners the Top 100 DJs Poll has spanned the length and breadth of the electronic music sphere, from Carl Cox to Tiësto to David Guetta and Martin Garrix, proving that the poll is representative of the growth – or decline – of dance music scenes, reflecting the ebb and flow of genres as new sounds and scenes take hold and spread.
