Thomas Gold

Call it the Gold standard. There’s simply no other way to measure the staggering success that Thomas Gold has achieved in dance music, consistently obliterating boundaries and defying convention, with chart-topping tracks and jaw-dropping performances across the globe.

The German artist made his mark with a series of releases on top-shelf labels including Toolroom Records, Spinnin’ Records and Size Records, as well as collaborations with Fatboy Slim, Dirty South and Alex Kenji, helping to elevate his name onto the radars of those who matter.

In 2012, Gold’s musical Midas touch earned him the honour of a coveted record deal with close friend Axwell’s acclaimed Axtone Recordings, where he wasted no time in taking the Swedish House Mafioso’s label to the top of the charts. ‘Sing2Me’, his instrumental Axtone debut, rode its Miami anthem status straight to Beatport’s No. 1 spot.

Releasing his latest shimmering track, the anthemic ‘Colourblind’, featuring a powerful vocal from Kate Elsworth, Thomas saw a home in the shape of Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, a match made in progressive-electro heaven, as ‘Colourblind’ climbed to #2 in the Beatport charts.

Constantly pushing the envelope with his unmatched energy and arsenal of custom edits, Thomas has played sets at major festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and Coachella – and with massive  marquee gigs spanning North America, Europe and Asia in the wings, Thomas Gold’s future is beyond bright. It’s practically gilded.
